Opportunity Details... Help Connect Older Adults to Services They Need
Do you like talking on the phone and helping others? Join a team of professionals assisting older adults to access important programs and services like in-home care, home delivered meals, rides to the doctor and caregiver support programs.
The Eldercare Locator (www.eldercare.gov) serves as a national call center to help older adults find the services they need. We are looking for volunteers to help take calls during busy times, follow up on voice messages, track data and assist with other administrative issues. The call center is open from 9 AM - 8 PM, Eastern Time, Monday - Friday. Volunteer hours are flexible.
