Improve Schools for Children in Your Community - Volunteer With ClassWish.org
We seek dedicated volunteers from anywhere in the country to help on a bold education nonprofit that will improve education for children in their communities.
Now, you can volunteer:
*online or in-person
*on your own schedule
*to help the schools and communities you care about
The problem:
K-12 schools in this country do not have the resources children need to thrive. Books, computers, art supplies, musical instruments, science equipment and sports equipment are all in short supply.
About Us:
We're going to change it.
ClassWish.org, an exciting new nonprofit, helps schools and teachers inform, inspire and engage supporters.
*Teachers create Wish Lists of the resources they need.
*People in the community can see exactly what is needed and how their tax-deductible contributions can help.
*ClassWish sends the materials to the schools.
The people behind this campaign include such prominent education and business leaders as the EVP of the New York Stock Exchange and the head of Education for Aspen Institute. Forbes Magazine liked our approach so much that they donated a full page to help raise awareness.
The work:
The site is up and running, and teachers are receiving supplies. Now, it's time to get the word out so we can help all teachers and kids.
Our simple bite-size projects make it easy for local volunteers to help us reach teachers, parents, PTA/PTO organizations, businesses, bloggers, press, religious organizations, civic organizations, nonprofits and teens in their communities.
The result?
Teachers and schools get the support they need. Parents and communities are engaged in supporting the schools they care about. And all of us will be united in helping our children perform at their best.
