Daughter For The Day, Inc. (DFTD) is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides senior citizens - over the age of 70 - with free, one-on-one, assistance to and from medical appointments, business appointments, and help with any other local errands deemed essential to daily living. Our mission is to ensure that seniors have safe, reliable, and affordable access to health care which will ultimately elevate their overall quality of health and life. A subsequent DFTD goal is to help seniors reconnect to and stay engaged in their communities through special events, activities, and social outings - which will also have a significant impact on their mental well-being. We need volunteers that can commit to 3 hours a month to make a difference in the life of a senior.
